If your problem areas include loose skin, cellulite, or uneven skin texture, Morpheus8 may be the ideal treatment for you.
Morpheus8: What You Should Know
Only local anesthesia is needed for a Morpheus8 treatment. We will apply numbing cream directly to the treatment area, and once you are properly numbed, the Morpheus8 handheld device will be applied directly to the area, where it will “stamp” into the skin. As it makes contact and the microneedles are administered, radiofrequency energy will be distributed. Those who undergo Morpheus8 treatments report that the process is uncomfortable, but not particularly painful. The numbing cream will help. Although the number of sessions you’ll need will depend on your goals, 3-5 treatments scheduled one month apart is typical.
Morpheus8 doesn’t leave behind any scarring; however, most clients need 1-4 days of social downtime after an appointment, as there is sometimes pinpoint bleeding and the skin usually stays red or pink and a bit swollen for that long. You’ll also want to avoid exercise (or anything that causes you to sweat) for two days, because the pores will be very open during this time. You should also avoid certain skin products, swimming, tanning beds, and direct sunlight for 48 hours. Use a gentle moisturizer or healing serum as the skin heals, and absolutely apply a broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen anytime you will be outdoors. Sun protection is critical. Makeup can be applied two days after your Morpheus8 treatment.
