Aging skin loses natural support structures (collagen and elastin) that keep the skin looking supple and youthful. Radiesse is a dermal filler that temporarily adds volume to address these issues.
What to Expect After Radiesse
Before your treatment begins, we will clean and prep your skin. Radiesse is injected through a small needle and placed under the skin. It has been FDA-approved to combine with lidocaine, an anesthetic for reducing pain during injections. The injections take 15-30 minutes.
Radiesse is a no-downtime treatment, so you will be able to go back to your regular day afterward. You may experience common side effects such as redness, bruising, or swelling, and the treated area may also appear unbalanced, over-filled, or lumpy. If this happens, don’t be alarmed — it will subside.
Results will be noticeable at 1-2 weeks and may last up to a year or longer.
