Who is Sculptra For?

FACT: Collagen molecules are too large to be absorbed by the skin. Instead, traditional collagen creams and gels contain moisturizers and vitamins that can temporarily improve the skin’s appearance.
FALSE: Collagen dietary supplements claim to facilitate the production of collagen within the body.
FACT: Collagen is a protein that is broken down by the digestive system when ingested. Results for these types of treatments are inconclusive.

FALSE: Many products claim to tighten skin through the use of exotic plants from overseas.
FACT: There are cosmetic ingredients you can put on your skin to make it feel tighter, yet that’s just your misperception. They are really just mundane ingredients such as egg whites, serum albumin, and polyvinyl alcohol.
