The Vampire Facelift is a remarkable injectable facial rejuvenation procedure that is completely revolutionary in its approach. There is no sedation, no lengthy recovery times, and no fear of looking overdone or plastic.
What You Can Expect from the Vampire Facelift
Before treatment begins, we will have an extensive discussion with you about your areas of concern and your personal aesthetic goals. We will examine your face in great detail, carefully evaluating what distracts from your natural good looks, as well as what enhances them. Once this has been determined, a treatment plan can be developed and treatment can take place.
Numbing cream will be applied to your face and your arm. We will draw about 1-2 tablespoons of blood from your arm, and then the blood will be placed within a machine so that the plasma can be separated from the red blood cells and other impurities. Once the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) has been separated, it will be combined with calcium chloride to release the growth factors, which work to improve the appearance and health of the skin. This concentrated PRP will then be placed into a syringe for injection.
Before injecting the PRP, we will first inject hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler to sculpt your face and establish a “scaffolding” for the PRP so that it can achieve a youthful lift and contour. The PRP and the dermal filler work together as a team, with the filler providing the volume and the PRP building collagen gradually to support that volume.
After your Vampire Facelift, you may have some mild redness, swelling, and a tight sensation in the skin. These side effects can last up to two days and may be followed by some light peeling. The injections may also cause bruising for up to one week.
